Rooms and suites here are divided into two sections: the Hillside and the Riviera Seaside. These are pretty far apart but have shuttle service between them for those who don’t want to walk.
The hillside area features the Butler Village and a more peaceful atmosphere, along with the largest pool area, some of the restaurants, a fitness center, and a spa.
The Riviera Seaside area is along the beach and features club and luxury level rooms (more about the different room levels below), as well as more pools (including one with a swim-up bar), restaurants, bars, and the Ochi Beach Club.
Types of Rooms at Sandals Ochi
There are three levels of rooms at Sandals resorts: luxury, club, and butler. Luxury rooms are the least expensive rooms at Sandals, but they are still very nice and come with all the inclusions such as unlimited meals and snacks at all restaurants, unlimited nonalcoholic and premium alcoholic beverages, an in-room minibar that’s refreshed daily, Robert Mondavi wines, a wide range of water and land activities (including scuba diving, snorkeling, tennis, fitness center), nightly entertainment, WiFi, airport transfers, and all tips and taxes. The only inclusion not available in a Sandals luxury room is room service.
Club level rooms at Sandals are the next step up and come with access to a Club concierge and private lounge, room service between 7a.m. and 10p.m., and a fully stocked bar instead of a minibar.
Butler level rooms at Sandals are the nicest and largest rooms available. These come with the services of a personal butler, 24-hour room service, a full bar with sparkling wine and premium liquor, and private airport transfers (sometimes in luxury vehicles).

The best luxury level room at Sandals Ochi, this room is located close to the beach and many of the restaurants and bars. It features a private balcony with bistro set and tropical garden views, a 4-poster mahogany king bed, a lounge chair, a stocked minibar, and a marble bath with shower/tub combination.

Honeymoon Hideaway Club Level Garden Cottage Room
We have stayed in this room and really enjoyed its convenient location near the beach (just behind the Riviera seaside buildings). Although it’s close to everything, it still feels private and quiet with its setting in lush gardens.
Recently updated, these club level rooms have a private patio or balcony with bistro set and tropical garden views, a 4-poster mahogany king bed, a sitting area, a stocked bar, and an ensuite bath with a combination shower/tub.
Riviera Honeymoon Beachfront Penthouse Club Level
For the best beach views in the club level, book this penthouse room on the top floor of the Riviera Building. It features a beachfront balcony with ocean views and a bistro set, as well as a 4-poster mahogany king bed, sitting area, stocked bar, and marble bathroom with shower/tub combination.
Poolside Club Level Villa Room at Sandals Ochi
We also like this club room, which is set in the hillside area and offers peace and seclusion. Recently renovated, it features tropical garden views from a private furnished patio or balcony and a semi-private pool (shared with one to three other rooms).
Inside you’ll find a king bed, seating area, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a stocked bar.

One Bedroom Poolside Butler Villa Estate Suite
The nicest suite we’ve stayed in at Sandals Ochi, these are located in the hillside area Butler Village and offer a quiet and exclusive vibe. Recently renovated, they have private terraces with bistro sets that lead out to a semi-private pool you share with one other room. Enjoy tropical garden views amidst the surrounding landscaping, as well as plenty of loungers to relax on.
Inside is a living room with couch and full bar, a separate master bedroom with a plush king bed and a chair, and an ensuite bath with a walk-in shower. These are great for two couples traveling together.
Riviera Honeymoon Beachfront One Bedroom Butler Suite
Similar to the Riviera Honeymoon Beachfront Club level rooms but more spacious and luxurious, with the added perks of 24-hour in-room dining and personal butler service, this butler suite features beautiful beach views, a private balcony with loungers and a bistro set, a living room with sofa and chairs, a separate bedroom with a 4-poster mahogany king bed, a fully stocked bar, and a spa-like bathroom with a Roman soaking tub and walk-in shower.
Butler Village Honeymoon Romeo & Juliet One Bedroom Villa Suite with Private Pool Sanctuary
This suite is in the hillside area’s Butler Village for seclusion. While it is pretty far from the beach, couples in this suite enjoy a tranquil, private luxury.
Enter the 1200-square-foot suite through the walled courtyard, which features a private pool, whirlpool, lounge chairs, bistro set, and outdoor shower. The interior features a living room with sofa and kitchenette (including a full bar); a master bedroom with 4-poster mahogany king bed; and a spa-style bath with soaking tub and walk-in shower. Both the living room and bedroom have French doors opening onto the courtyard.
Villa with 4 One-Bedroom Butler Suites and Private Pool
The most luxurious butler suite at Sandals Ochi is this recently renovated private villa in the hillside Butler Village, which has four one-bedroom suites. Each suite has a bedroom with a king bed and chair, a living room with a sofa and fully stocked bar, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
In addition to private outdoor spaces, the suites all have access to a terrace with loungers and a private pool, surrounded by lush landscaping. This is the perfect option for couples or adult family members traveling together.
