We have visited Sandals Royal Caribbean multiple times and love the peaceful atmosphere, but we also enjoy seeing the sights. Our favorite excursions to recommend are:
- Bamboo River Rafting on the Martha Brae River: float peacefully down the scenic river on a bamboo raft and spot local birds and wildlife
- Reggae Catamaran and Snorkeling Cruise: head out over the Caribbean to vibrant reefs for snorkeling, then enjoy snacks, drinks, and dancing to reggae music
- The Luminous Lagoon Experience: take a night cruise on this beautiful lagoon, which is filled with bioluminescent organisms that glow when disturbed
- Dunn’s River Falls, Blue Hole, and River Tubing: although this is 90 minutes away in Ocho Rios, we think it’s worth the trip as these sites are gorgeous and so much fun. However, it’s a much easier excursion from Sandals Dunn’s River, Sandals Royal Plantation, or Sandals Ochi.
